About Us

Who We Are

The West Clermont Youth Basketball Association is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit athletic organization located in the West Clermont Local School District in Ohio. We serve youth in our area from Kindergarten through 12th grade.

We are a member of the Cincinnati Premier Youth Basketball League, which works with local communities and organizations within the Greater Cincinnati area to provide the best possible experience for our youth. Our board and coaches are all volunteers.

The mission of the WCYBA is to provide a positive and encouraging environment for the development of skills in the game of basketball for all youth within the West Clermont Local School District in grades K-12. Not only will we teach your child the skills needed to play basketball, but we strive to teach the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, respect, commitment, responsibility and integrity. Our volunteers work hard to ensure your child has the best experience possible in their duration through our program.

Our Divisions

Grades K-1

Kindergarten and 1st grade will remain in West Clermont, with the purpose of introducing players to the game of basketball.  Players will learn the basic fundamentals of the game, including dribbling, passing and shooting. These players will play one day per week (usually a Saturday) and will have a 30 minute practice prior to a 30 minute game.

Grades 3-12 Recreation

Players in grades 3-12 will play other teams throughout the CPYBL. These teams are organized by gender and grade.  These teams will play a 10 game schedule. For more information, please visit our Player Placement section.

Grades 3-6 Athletic

WCYBA is proud to offer an athletic option for those interested.  Our athletic teams will play other athletic teams throughout the CPYBL and will play a 20 game schedule. Evaluations will be held for all those interested in playing on a athletic team. For more information, please visit our Player Placement section.
